Published on September 10th, the merit list for the year 2023 has been released by the Sindh Institute of Medical and Allied Sciences Karachi. The Institute has released 1,585 seats for MBBS candidates in various disciplines.
The merit list is based on marks scored by candidates in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2023. Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in the NEET 2023 will be eligible to seek admission. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will also be given preference in the selection process.

According to the Institute, the merit list is based on an overall percentage score earned by candidates in all three years of the MBBS course: 10%, 20% and 30%. Candidates who secure 50% or above in all three years will be included in the merit list. Out of 1,609 students appearing for MBBS examinations this year, 921 have been declared eligible for further admission into the Institute’s MBBS course.

The Sindh Institute of Medical and Allied Sciences (SIMAS) Karachi released the merit list for 2023 on Thursday. The Institute awarded degrees to 5,016 students who achieved a GPA of 4.0 or better in their final year of study. SIMAS Merit List Check Online
The Sindh Institute of Medical and Allied Sciences Karachi (SIMAS) has released the merit list for the examinations conducted in the year 2023. The examination was conducted in three stages: a written test, a medical interview and a practical examination. The candidates appearing for the written test were required to score at least 35 out of 50 marks to qualify for the first stage. If a candidate fails to score at least 35 marks in the written test, he can still qualify for the second stage by scoring at least 24 out of 30.
Candidates appearing for medical interview had to score at least 30 out of 40 marks to qualify for the second stage. However, if a candidate fails to score 30 out of 40 in the medical interview, he cannot qualify for the third stage. Candidates appearing for the practical examination were required to score at least 45 out of 60 marks to qualify for the third stage. If a candidate fails to score 45 out of 60 marks in the practical examination, he is not allowed to appear in any further stages of the examination. The results of the examination will be announced on April 1st, 2023.
